ARTHaus aims to explore with parents about children's character by introducing different artistic styles and diverse methods of mark-making to strengthen hand-eye coordination and perception skills.

This program opens a group dialogue to discuss the work of art in order to sparkle children's creativity. ARTHaus aims to nurture children's sensation, observation, visualisation throughout diversity practice to support them to establish their critical thinking, analytical and communicational skills.

 

We will celebrate with an exhibition at the end of the program.

The period from 1826 to 1855 was crucial in photography's development, featuring key advancements and artistic innovations. This theory and hands-on course explores foundational concepts, starting with the Camera Obscura (4th century BC) and progressing through 16th-century pinhole cameras and 18th-century still life. We will examine photograms created between 1771 and 1805 and the introduction of photogenic drawings in 1839. Students who previously studied pinhole techniques can choose to continue with that or explore cyanotypes, developed in 1843, enhancing their understanding of early photographic practices and their historical significance.
